The Exhibition, which was inaugurated in 2003, was

AIA received a "Commendation" in the Culture Category, in the framework of the 2003 Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Awards organised by the Greek Advertisers Association, for its contribution to the promotion of the cultural heritage of our country, with an emphasis on the greater airport area.

The Permanent Exhibition of Eleftherios Venizelos The Eleftherios Venizelos exhibition outlines the important role that the eminent Greek politician Eleftherios Venizelos played in shaping the history and social course of the country. His personality and political career are documented through a series of representative photographs that emphasize the significant events and turning points of his life and highlight the political expertise and activity of this key, figure of modern Greek history.

This permanent exhibition - located at the Departures Level of the Main Terminal Building - is also held in public recognition of Eleftherios Venizelos's major contribution to the development of aviation in Greece, which he accomplished with the establishment of the "Ministry of Aviation".
